In response to the increased incidence of violence in our school systems, the United States Secret Service Commissioned this presentation.

In 2006 the Secret Service released their report on school violence, asserting that school violence is a form of terrorism. The report confirms the fact that many adolescents who commit acts of terrorism have been previously bullied. It also encourages replacing the term "victim" with "target"!

There are a number of aspects of this interactive educational tool:

1. Addresses the "issues" of bullying. This is an introduction into a number of bullying behaviors with an opportunity to hear from the bully why they behave as they do.
   
2. Instigators - realistic every day scenarios revealing how instigating a bully leads to violence.
   
3. Scenarios revealing how bystander and leadership skills can make a diffference.
   
4. A message to Parents from children being bullied and children accused of bullying.
   
5. The negative social impact and negative environment a bullying situation presents in a school setting.
   
6. Solutions to bullying based upon data accumulated throughout 15 states and 53 school district student focus groups.
